Too bad it isn’t that easy… I personally enjoy working out, running, and sweating, BUT it was still difficult for me to get back in the routine of working out post-baby.
As a New Mama you have every excuse…
-I’m getting little to no sleep
-My body doesn’t function the same as it used to
-I spent the last few months doing modified exercises, if any at all
-I have a baby who doesn’t nap very often, and leaving the house is a huge ordeal
-I don’t have the money to spend on equipment, or a gym membership
-Did I mention, someone is using me as a food source?
– And the list goes on and on!
www.toneitup.com : This site is amazing! It’s filled with workouts, recipes, and a nutrition plan available for purchase. The workouts are available via printable, pdf, and videos. I personally joined this nutrition plan, and it has changed the way I look at food. It also provided amazing community for when I was trying to shed my excess baby weight. ((provides mostly toning workouts))
www.blogilates.com : Cassie, of Blogilates provides short, effective workouts. Lots of them can be modified for beginners, and are excellent for weight loss. ((they aren’t all pilates workouts))
www.bodyrock.com : These are SHORT, but intense workouts.
My Pinterest board is loaded with workouts for both at home and the gym.
Remember to keep perspective…
You birthed a human. You aren’t ugly, unsexy, unworthy, or a terrible person because you are figuring out the whole workout thing ((Even if you didn’t just have baby…)). You are a woman. A beautiful creation of our King. You are worth your hard work.
