I have been dreaming of being a vitamix owner all of my adult life, but the hefty price tag never allowed me to take the plunge. Not to mention, I wasn’t able to convince my husband of all of its amazing functions. One QVC infomercial later and he was SOLD. It hasn’t even been a week and we’ve made so many tasty things in our new vitamix. I have a feeling this won’t be the last vitamix recipe I post.
I’m all about the starbucks drive-thru, but as convenient as it is, they DO NOT have almond milk!
Plus I’m forced to pay $3.50+ for a latte!
Who knew you could make a delicious almond milk latte without an espresso machine, but in a blender??! Tweet this
Gather these ingredients:
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup hot brewed coffee (or espresso)
1 tbs organic pure maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon + more to garnish
1/4 tsp cane sugar (optional)
1. Place all of your ingredients in the Vitamix (in the order listed)
2. Turn onto variable 1 (or low), quickly increase to 10 (or high). Run on high for about 5-7 minutes. You will be able to feel if its hot. Make sure to stand by as the foam may seep out the top or spew over if you didn’t secure the lid!
Note: I’ve stopped the Vitamix several times just to check if it was hot, this didn’t affect the outcome of the latte!
3. Poor contents into your favorite mug. Spooning the foam on top of the remaining hot liquid blend. Sprinkle with Cinnamon.
It’s that easy! I hope you think it’s as delicious as I do. You can easily add more sweeteners/ different sweeteners. Add coffee syrups instead of vanilla, and play around with the ingredients to make your favorite latte for a fraction of the price.
Are you a vitamix owner? What are your favorite recipes to make?
*I was in NO way composted for the post, nor did I receive any prompting from Vitamix. I am simply a new fan of their amazing product.
