Today is day 17 of Whole 30! More than halfway done. Iv’e found that when I get stressed out over something, my first response is to want to flock to a drive thru and treat myself to something. A drive thru to me means a coffee, or a chick fil a sweet tea/ lemonade. I’m all about the drinks usually, so this has helped me stay away. I still haven’t gone to a fast food restaurant during this whole 30!
I had beans in my chili this past Sunday night, and I’m still putting maple syrup in my coffee. It’s the little things right?
For the most part I’ve been feeling great, I get pretty tired at around 5 everyday. I’m not sure if its due to lack of carbs or lack of sleep?
I’ve really enjoyed cooking, I just wish the food would clean the kitchen too 🙂 Thankfully my hubby has been cleaning it the last few days.

It’s been the same old eggs and bacon. I’ve been eating this well before the whole 30 and it still hasn’t gotten old. Sometimes a little sweet potato hash, and avocado help to spice it up!
Homemade Apple Sauce for a fun new treat this week. Thanks to the vitamin this was EASY! Just a few cored apples and some lemon juice and you have yourself apple sauce!
Leftovers are what I mostly eat for lunch every day. Here’s a crock pot stew I made and added avocados for even more yumminess. I’m loving sweet potatoes and bacon together!
Mango sorbet! Another yummy vitamix creation. Just a cup of frozen mangos, one ripe banana and blend.
Baked Apple Pork Chops… So good, so easy. The only downside is that these take a LONG time to bake. They will may your house smell amazing in the process though.
