wow! This girl is growing and time is flying. I look at her pictures this month and see such a big girl.
Her seven month update:
Weight : 17 lbs 5oz (guess)
Height: 27 in.
Head: 42.5 cm.
Eating: Still on bottle strike! She is really loving mum mums. Just the other night I put solids in a mesh fresh food feeder and she is eating so much better! Whenever she eats more solids she seems to sleep much better.
Sleeping: With a good routine of a bath, peace and calming essential oil foot rub, a swaddle and a pacifier she puts herself to sleep fairly easily. Falling asleep isn’t the issue, it’s staying asleep! We have officially dropped the “dream feed” and she is pushing through until 3:30 or 4. She can even sleep through that too! She mostly rolls to her tummy and her side to sleep. We’ve been doing more cry it out the last week than before, she seems to be adjusting well.
Teeth: Gnawing, drooling and showing signs but STILL no teeth! (same as last month)
Nicknames: Miss Jane, Baby Jane, The baby Jane, Jane Girl
Diapers: Mostly in cloth! Wearing smallest setting of bum genius & flip diapers. She’s wearing size 3 disposables quite a bit if we are going to be out for awhile.
Clothes: She’s wearing size 6-12 in baby gap, and anything from bigger size 6 months to 12 months clothes in other brands.
Loves: She loves the jump-a-roo! She is always jumping even if you just hold her she bounces. She also likes to stand rather than sit or be on her tummy. She’s also a big fan of books, anything that makes noises and anyone who wants to tell her she is pretty. Like most babies she loves to be held! She is a snuggler and doesn’t mind laying her head down or snuggling with anyone that will have her.
Dislikes: She doesn’t like to be left alone. She can be perfectly content for 10 minutes and then you leave the room and she will fuss!
Things to Remember: She is on track with her DOC band and hopefully have it off right after she turns 8 months old. See her 6 month update for info.
Milestones: Jane had her first flight this month! We went to see my friend Kimmy and family in Baltimore, MD. She also got to see her first snow fall and then again at home!! It was a snowy February!
