happy friday friends!
I’m sharing a few of my favorite things today because I got a few minutes to sit down & I just can’t keep them to myself (they are THAT good).

If you haven’t jumped on the podcast train, do it now. Podcasts are the new blog and they are the bomb.com.
Why? because you can listen to them while doing mindless tasks like dishes, laundry, or watching your kids watch Curious George.
Currently, I’m majorly crushing on Jamie Ivey and her Happy Hour podcast. I feel like I’m in a conversation with real people, learning new things, and being inspired. Major bonus when the majority of my time is spent talking to 2 humans & a dog under the age of 4.
Next would be Elizabeth Gilbert’s Magic Lessons. Honestly, 2 years ago I NEVER called myself a creative. I don’t make art, I don’t write books, I mean I barely passed Art in 8th grade. BUT turns out I am a creative, I create things and I enjoy it. If you are the least bit creative this podcast will inspire the creativity within you!
Newest Album obsession :: Penny & Sparrow, Let a Lover Drown You . So rich, so so good. I went to college with these guys and they are the real deal both on and off the stage. I even got to lead YL club songs with one of them. The link goes straight to their newest album on iTunes.
All time love:: Lauren Daigle, How Can it Be , I mean she’s just powerful and totally boosts the mood when you’ve been hanging out with little people all day.
If we’ve talked in the last year there is a good chance you know my deep love for Brene Brown.
It is taking me awhile to read her latest book Rising Strong because it’s that stinking good. It’s one of those books that you listen to on audio, read again, and read and journal through too. Life. Changing.
I can’t recommended it enough OR any of her work for that matter. If you aren’t the reading type or want to save time.. grab it on Audible for FREE (a way to listen to books). She’s the one actually reading it (which makes it 10x more awesome).
Last but certainly NOT least is my lovely friend Amy’s new children’s book.
You guys this message is amazing and absolutely what I want my children to live like.
To use the gifts we’ve been given to give to others?! Ahhh… it’s dreamy, as is Amy!
I was fortunate enough to see her this weekend while she was in Dallas!
I pray your weekend is filled with laughter, love and something that gives you joy! Feel Free to share your favorites with me right here in the comments section!
